History
Getting insights from data is a promising concept, but getting there can be hard. We know. We've been there.
We started our journey at a Fortune 500 financial services company when we discovered one day that adding a BI layer on top of an existing data warehouse would cost $1M over 8 months. We thought that was preposterous. Why should something this beneficial be so expensive and take so long?
We know how valuable it is to be able to analyze data quickly and easily. So we want everyone to be able to do it. Not just Fortune 500 companies (which we know, by the way, love a lower-cost solution that cuts it) but organizations of all shapes and sizes. Not just a few elite users, but every one.
That means a solution that is easy to use, gets results fast, and is attractively priced.
We are excited about this challenge; its what we get a kick out of. Every time we think of a new way to do something, we ask ourselves, "Does this still keep things simple? Does it make them any faster? Does it keep prices low?" And that focus in every decision we make makes our solutions that much better.

What does Navion mean?
At Navion, our belief is that we succeed when you succeed. This means navigating through project challenges with you. We were inspired by the words "NAVIgate" and "unION" which are aligned with our philosophy. The word Navion is derived from this inspiration.
