Introducing simpleBI™

Keeping things simple

If there's one lesson we've learnt, its that it is hard to harness value out of complexity.

How is it different?

simpleBI Consider the stick shift option for your car.
To some people, it's liberation. The excitement and thrill of revving the engine, shifting gears at the right time, making sharp corners, can be equalled by few other things.

To most other people though, a stick shift means being stuck. Getting the timing of the clutch, shifting gears, while still keeping the car going where you want it to... it's just too difficult. And the numbers don't lie. In 1980, more than 35% of all cars sold in the US had a stick. In 2007, that number dropped to 7.7%. Even life-long fans of stick shifts are being swayed to the other side.

Does this make the stick shift wrong, and the auto transmission right? That would be too hasty a call. They both are right, just to different audiences.

And we believe that's exactly how it is with Business Intelligence. Humor us with an analogy... Everyone wants to get from one place to other, or in a business context, make better decisions using data. So everyone would love a car, or in a business context, a BI solution. Some like the excitement of pushing the clutch, shifting gears, and steering the car at the same time (or using conventional BI solutions), others look for easy to run.

simpleBI ™ is like the auto transmission of Business Intelligence. It is powerful, yet easy to learn. It is easy to deploy, gets right results quickly, yet costs little.

Finally, allow us to highlight where the analogy stops. Most people like low prices: the stick shifts cost less, but conventional BI is very, very expensive.
